The president of Shenzhen Airlines, China's fifth- largest carrier, has been removed from his position and is under investigation for unspecified “economic crimes”, according to the airline.
Li Kun has been replaced as president by Fan Cheng, the airline's Communist party secretary.
Mr Fan serves concurrently as a vice-president at Air China, the national carrier and second-largest shareholder in Shenzhen Airlines.
